Having been brought up in Holland, Norway, Cameroon and America, Morwenna studied English Literature & Philosophy at Trinity College in Dublin, graduating with a 1st Class MA. She then trained in acting at Drama Centre London before joining the audiobooks department at Penguin Random House. After working on the Roald Dahl relaunch featuring Kate Winslet and Stephen Fry and casting for Assassin’s Creed, Morwenna moved into editorial and commissioning at Harper Collins, where she worked with globally bestselling authors including Hilary Mantel, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Jonathan Franzen and Anthony Doerr. She also founded and produced the 4th Estate Podcast.

Morwenna then moved into publishing non-fiction at Ebury at Penguin, where she worked with brand authors such as Tim Ferriss, Marie Kondo, Brené Brown and Edward de Bono, before joining the Palo Alto audiobook and podcast startup hibooks, where she co-founded the UK office. While at hibooks Morwenna also ran a publishing consultancy, which led her to agenting. Morwenna has been a full-time Literary Agent for the past four years and represents Sunday Times bestselling and award-winning authors across fiction and non-fiction. At the end of 2024 Morwenna joined Aevitas Creative Management – a fully integrated, full-service agency with offices across New York, LA, London, Barcelona and Paris.
