CapCut Editing for Content Creators

This course is a look behind the curtain of how content creators edit their videos using CapCut, taking you from raw footage to polished final product. Taught by Vegard Lysfjord, a full time editor and content producer with over 10 years of industry experience, the course covers the role editing plays in creating compelling content. You’ll learn how to find your own style and bring your personality into your videos, how to fix or cover up mistakes that arise during filming, and how to take your editing beyond cutting by applying text, assets, sound effects and captions to make your final product stand out.

By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to start editing your own videos using CapCut’s tools, with a greater understanding of why editing matters for telling your story. You’ll know the basics of animation and how to use it in your projects, feel confident applying your own techniques and style to your edits, and be able to add captions and text to finalise videos ready for posting.

This course is designed for anyone interested in making their own content, whether that’s for YouTube, Instagram reels or LinkedIn! No need for any prior experience. You may bring in your own content to edit, or use video content provided by your course tutor.
